Before heart month comes to an end, we want to introduce to you two children in desperate need of cardiac procedures. Trần Lê Ngọc Mỹ (age 1) and Ngô Thịnh Phát (age 3) have both been diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital defect that affects blood flow to the heart. This condition can create life-threatening complications if left untreated. Trần Lê Ngọc Mỹ’s father works as a farmer and Ngô Thịnh Phát’s father collects scraps and bottles for a living. However, with very low incomes, their hard work is just not enough to fund these life-saving heart surgeries for their beautiful children.
