Allen Waldrep
Administrative Director

Allen Waldrep married his wonderful wife, Robin, in 1978. During these 45 years, they have been blessed with three children and seven grandchildren. Allen received his bachelor's degree from Liberty University and his master’s degree in Intercultural Studies from Columbia International University. Allen and Robin, now empty-nesters, live in Lynchburg, VA, where Allen has been a staff pastor at Heritage Baptist Church for twenty years.

 

Sixteen of those years were working with cross-cultural workers around the globe. It was during this time, in 2013, that Allen became involved with Chad Hoyt and Tom Forsberg in what would soon become Healing Hearts Vietnam.

 

As the Administrative Director of Healing Hearts Vietnam, before being hindered by COVID restrictions, Allen joined Chad and Tom in annual trips to Vietnam, helping with the nuances of intercultural relationships and strategic planning. Allen continues to interact with our liaisons in Vietnam to approve the life-saving surgeries and plans to visit Vietnam again soon to reconnect with our wonderful partners there.
